MoVe-IT Kick-off Meeting

On 15-16 Dec 2016 the MoVe IT kickoff meeting took place at TIFPA.

MoVe-IT is a INFN CSN5 Call funded for 2017-2019 (PI: Emanuele Scifoni (TIFPA)) dedicated to development of innovative models and experimental verification devices for radiobiologically optimized treatment planning in particle therapy.

On the first day, the internal meeting took place, where 41 participants gathered to discuss the scientific workplan, task by task, and to set the initial activities and interactions. They included delegates of all the 5 INFN groups involved in the call, plus several researchers from the Associated partners (APSS, CIBIO, BIOTech (Trento), CNR-IBFM (Cefalù), CNR-IBB (Naples), Parthenope University (Naples)).

On the second day, the MoVe-IT Management Committee met the panel of 5 Referees assigned to the Call, in order to define the scientific and financial details of the project and assure a close interaction along its implementation, before the start of the activities.
