Visit of Tuscany and Trentino administrations to Proton beam facility

In the context of the established collaboration both on the clinical side and on the research side between the Meyer Children Hospital in Florence and the Trento Protontherapy center - TIFPA-CIBIO, a delegation from the Tuscany Region administration visited the clinical and research sites of the PT center on 18.2.2019, welcomed by the President of Trentino Province, Maurizio Fugatti, and a delegation of the local administration. The research collaboration between Meyer,  TIFPA and CIBIO is focused on exploring a peculiar combination of chemotherapy and proton radiation for high grade gliomas.
